In this course we will do some improvisation exercises, we will work with our body and voice, we will read some theatre plays, do some character analysis and perform some scenes.

1st SESSION: Physical work tells you a story
1. Walk in a neutral position. 5’
2. Moving through the room walking slowly or fast, at different levels, move backwards, forwards, to the right to the left. Kneel down, roll on the floor, creep, stand, jump... Let the music guide you. 10’
3. Building up confidence. Stand in a circle. One person goes in the middle of it. With your eyes closed, let your body bounce while the rest of the group members hold you.
4. I love you. Choose a person in the group. you love. Don’t tell anyone. Your movements will show who this person is: you want to be close to them. Check what your feelings are when theymove away from you, when they got close to you. 5’
5. I hate you. Choose a person in the group you hate. Don’t tell anyone. Your movements will show who this person is: you want to be far away from them. Check what your feelings are when they move away from you, when they got close to you 5’
6. Equilateral triangle. Keep moving through the room choose two people in your mind and as you move get focused on building up an equilateral triangle all the time. 5 ‘
7. In a circle you mimmick a gesture but say something completely different. 10’
8. In pairs standing opposite your partner assign A and B roles. A says one B says 2 A says 3.Then replace 1 by a clap, 2 by a jump, three by twisting down.
9. Improvisation exercise: Choose an object from your bag. Improvise with it. In pairs with no words only mimic.
10. Voice exercise, relaxing.
